All group escrow pots, virtual account numbers, and settlement rails are powered directly by SafeHaven Microfinance Bank, fully licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and insured by the NDIC. Funds never sit in unregulated private accounts.
Official Meta WhatsApp Cloud Security
Laskad operates on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Messages are transmitted with end-to-end transport security, and our assigned WhatsApp bot phone numbers are verified to prevent phishing or impersonation.
Multi-Admin Consensus Voting
Prevent unauthorized withdrawals and single-treasurer disputes. Escrow vault payouts cannot be executed unless at least 75% of designated group administrators vote to approve the disbursement directly inside WhatsApp.
AES-256 Encryption & Ephemeral BVN
All database records are protected with AES-256 bit encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. BVNs are verified in real-time through licensed banking API pipelines and are immediately purged post-verification.
Stamped PDF Receipts & Audit Ledger
Every deposit or contribution automatically generates an official stamped PDF receipt posted into the WhatsApp group chat. Every member receives proof of payment immediately, creating a 100% transparent audit trail.
NDPR Compliance & Identity Auditing
Our verification rails adhere to ISO 27001 standards and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPR). Multi-factor administrator authentication and biometric security ensure only authenticated managers access financial controls.
